2002 Isosceles
91 points, Wine
Spectator
The 2002 ISOSCELES has a deep, dark purple hue.
Subtle blackberry aroma’s combine with coffee and
earthy tones in this opulent Bordeaux blend. The
entry into the 2002 ISOSCELES is fruit forward and
rich on the palate. Flavors of cherry, cassis and a
hint of plum evolve into layers of chocolate and
caramel.
The depth of the wine consumes your mouth, and
creates a seamless, full-bodied texture from
conception to the soft, integrated, French oak
finish.
- 2003 Isosceles
93 Points, The Wine Enthusiast
Subtle earthy tones combine with a hint of leather
aromatically in this deep, inky black hued wine. The
entry is soft and subtle with ample black fruit and
coffee. Cherry, currant and a hint of plum evolve
into layers of chocolate and caramel on the
mid-palate. A soft, seamless finish is balanced by
flavors of spicy French Oak.
- 2004 Isosceles
95 Points, The Wine Advocate
The 2004
ISOSCELES is inky blue with a slight purple overtone
around the rim. Aromas of blueberry, black cherry
and cassis fill the glass. The entry is soft,
velvety and filled with bright fruit. Seamless,
lengthy tannins scream across the palate showing the youth and potential
longevity of this wine. Layers of complexity evolve
into a finish that combines flavors of coffee, dark
fruit and hints of vanilla and caramel. The 2004
ISOSCELES is very young, and will continue to evolve
from now through 2020. |
